Mike has been a singer/songwriter since the start of his career in music.  These acoustic concerts may range from just Mike to possibly including one or two other musicians to fill out a little quieter musical experience.  Sort of like a bible study or conversation among friends, these are great concert opportunities for smaller venues and audiences or for a more intimate environment.  Stories of Hope lead to Songs of Joy and is the heartbeat of this particular concert series.  If you have a theme in mind, just let us know!

Mike is supported by an excellent group of musicians that join him for larger concert events and tours.  More musicians means greater musical flexibility and the ability to express the songs and stories in different ways.  This is a great option for larger audiences, outdoor events and special worship services and celebrations.  The message remains the same, focusing on what Jesus has done for us, we are inspired to celebrate who we are and what we have because of Christ.

LWMS Event @ St. Paul's Lake Mills

St. Paul's Lake Mills, 1530 South Main Street, Lake Mills

Mike will be sharing with the Lutheran Women's Missionary Society about encouraging and walking with young adults:

HOPE AND THE BROKEN ROAD - UNDERSTANDING THE JOURNEY OF EMERGING ADULTS In our church body, much of our history has been spent creating a path for spiritual growth from cradle to grave and yet it seems that we struggle to keep teens and young adults connected to that narrow road. About every 15-20 years, a new group of people is given a label that tends to stereotype an entire generation. Boomers, Gen X, Millennials, Gen Z - you get the point. As many books and articles are written about these emerging cultures, not enough attention is paid to the unique realities that young people face in the 18-25 time of life. In this session we take a harder look at what some call the "University Moment" and the challenges to identity, intimacy and freedom and why walking WITH them through their doubts, questions, arrogance and pride as older adults is so important.
